The Kindness of Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) Essay

Status Of Women In Islam Essay

Status Of Women In Islam Essay . Islam recognises the position of woman to be the same as that of man. It claims that both come from the same essence. In a woman, we find three different personalities a mother, a wife and a daughter. The position of the mother is very much exalted in Islamic tradition. Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) has gone so far as to say, "Paradise lies underneath the feet of your mothers." As regards the position of woman as wife, the saying of the Prophet (Peace be upon him) is categorical.

"The best among you is the one who is best towards his family." With regards to woman as a daughter, the Islamic attitude can be realised from the reproaches which the Holy Quran makes against the pagan pre-Islamic behaviour at the birth of daughters.

The mutual relation of husband and wife is described in the Holy Quran as that of a single soul in two bodies. Islam describes the house as a unit in the greater organisation of a nation as a whole. It speaks of husband as being "an administrator and supervisor over the people of the house" and the wife is described as "administrator of the house of her husband and children." The home is thus described as a kingdom, where authority is exercised by both the husband and the wife.

Islam envisages a natural division of work between men and women. While man is best suited to fight and make his way through the thick and thin of life on account of his stronger physique and other. attributes, woman is entrusted with the onerous task of bringing up the younger generations because of the preponderance of the quality of love and compassion in her. This functional division of work does not mean that woman has entirely been excluded from other kinds of activities.

So. Islam has clearly defined and determined the status of woman in society. According to the teachings of Islam men and women enjoy equal rights in our society but their social responsibilities and duties are different. Woman is the queen of her house. Her main and sacred duties are to look after the domestic affairs, to bring up children with care, to educate the children and to act according to the wishes of her husband. However, Islam does not prevent the woman from serving in various social institutions. They may work as teachers, doctors, nurses etc. They may also take part in politics.

Thus we see that Islam has laid greater stress on the domestic duties of a woman. Our salvation lies in following the teachings of Islam. Therefore, we must abstain from copying the western culture blindly and must stick to our own Islamic culture as firmly as possible.

Essay On Islamic Culture In Pakistan

Essay On Islamic Culture In Pakistan .Culture means the cultivation and development of human mind. Islamic Cultures differs from other Cultures. The aim of other cultures is to cultivate the mind of an individual or some group. Islamic Culture is the kind of Culture prescribed by Islam. It aims at nothing less than the success of mankind as a whole. The origin of Islamic Culture lies in the Holy Quran.Islamic Culture is very different form other cultures in many ways. The salient features of Islamic Culture are four.

Firstly. Islamic Culture is universal in its aim and object. It does not aim at the progress of an individual or a group of individual. Its objective is the development of the whole race intellectually, spiritually, socially and economically. It provides the guidance in both the worlds, material and spiritual.

Secondly, it is a practical religion. The teachings of Islam are practicable. 'Islam means to surrender to the will of God. It teaches and preaches to us in practical, material, social and spiritual life. Islamic Culture has no place for those who only believe and do not act.

Thirdly. Islamic Culture is rational. It appeals to men to use their reason . It does not prohibits its believers to shun the learning of worldly education. It does not maintain any distinction, between the religious education and secular education. In glorious days of Islam, the Muslims learned science subjects side by side Quran, Hadith and Fiqha.

Fourthly, Islam gives a complete political and social system as alternative to other systems. It promotes brotherhood and equality. There is no priesthood in Islam. Every Muslim man and woman has been urged to learn knowledge. It promises peace and stability in their whole world.

The Muslims are backward today' because they do not follow the principles of Islam, in true spirit. They regain their lost status in the world by following the tenets of Islam. Now they must awake and act upon the principles of Islam.

Essay On Islamic Democracy

Essay On Islamic Democracy The modern democratic state is a type of state which came into existence in 19th century largely as an effect of the French Revolution and the industrial Revolution of the absolute nation-state of 16th and the 17th century. But the Islamic state came into existence in the 7th century as an effect of the greatest Revolution of the world which was not only political and economic but also social and ethical.

Islam is a great religion and it has revolutionised every aspect of human life. So, Islamic democracy in its connotation in wider than western democracy. It means not only political equality but also social equality. In Islamic society all are equal. There is no class-divisions or distinctions of birth and social position. All members of the society enjoy equal status and position The only criterion of superiority in Islamic society is personal ability and character. Allah says: "0 mankind! I created you out of a single pair of a male and a female. The most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is he who is the most righteous of you." So according to Islam no one is superior except which are most pious and righteous.

In Islam the concept of human brotherhood and equality is vital and basic. The lowest of the low must have the same rights as the highest of the high  the President of the Republic. The first effective endeavour of Islam to establish social equilibrium is its emphasis on equality. The Holy Prophet said:- All men are equal in their human rights-.

Everyone has got its equal rights of progress in Islamic society; the restricted scope for personal achievement is the hall-mark of Islamic society. Islam not only emphasizes social equality, but also bans such attitude and activities as are likely to disturb social harmony. Democracy in capitalistic countries grants simply equal political rights. So. through manipulation of the non-restricted freedom, the capitalists make masses their wage-slave. It results in mockery and force. All the wealth and resources under a capitalistic democracy are concentrated in the hands of a few capitalists.

They through their money-power turn the state into the servant of their interests as against the interests of the general masses. This dangerous possibility is not expected to occur in the Islamic state. In capitalistic society, money determines one's place in society. This is against the spirit of Islam. In a true Islamic society no man can lord over others merely on the strength of a swollen purse. Islam cut the very root of the possibility of economic exploitation by prohibiting vested interest, hoarding, profiteering, by imposing zakat and by declaring that all that is in the heaven and the earth belongs to God alone.

Islam ensures social justice and economic security for all by a comprehensive system of check and balances on the sources of income, the means of living and the avenues of expenditure. It thus acts as a preventive check on the capitalistic tendencies and exits. Islam also enunciates its scheme of economic freedom and security' through its scheme of equitable distribution of wealth and resources. It declares the state ownership of all natural resources.

Right to private property is not doubt recognised by Islam, but it is hedged round by salutary checks. Islam imposes heavy social responsibilities on the rich. There is a warning for serious punishment in store for those who abuse their riches to the detriment of society. It has declared that all authority belongs to Allah alone. but every man, being. His representative -- Khalifa, is entitled to exercise that authority. No nobility, no priest has any discriminating privileges. Thus political equality or 'rule of law' of capitalistic democracy is also fully secured in Islam.

Essay On Journey In An Over Crowded Bus

Essay On Journey In An Over Crowded Bus.

It was Sunday morning. I had decided to visit my friend Raza who lives in Shandra. The place is quite far off from my residence in Sanat Nagar and the rickshaw would have charged at least rupees forty. So. I though of taking a little trouble in a G.T.S. bus to cover the whole distance for rupees four only. As I reached the bus stop. I saw a huge crowd swelling on the road. They all .made a dash when they saw a bus coming. The buses were packed to the capacity and some passengers were hanging on the rails.

The lucky ones managed to put their toe on the foot hold and left everything else to good. There is no need of pushing ourselves inside. It is done with full force by those who board the bus after us. It was Sunday. So every one was trying to get maximum out of the all route ticket which costs only Rs.4.00. The private buses observed holiday. The crowd was increasing every minute.

As I caught the bus. the fellow commuters rubbed me in. There were only fifty seats in the bus but more than hundred persons were traveling in it. The number of passengers standing in the corridors was in no way less than those occupying the seats. There are eight seats reserved for the ladies but they were all occupied by young men. The old women were standing in the corridor and requesting the boys to vacate the seats. The boys had turned their 'faces aside and posed as if they were deeply observed in the scene outside. It was not easy to get to the exit door. One had to do some tight rope walking as if it was a circus show.

My stop was coming nearer. I started pushing my way ahead. Suddenly. I felt some one touching my purse. I tried to grab him but he had already slipped. I looked around foolishly because not only the money but the ticket was also in the purse

I shouted loudly and called on the driver to take the bus to the police station. He kept on driving till my stop came. He told me that I would not gain anything because the, pick pocket might have de-boarded immediately. I had learnt a new lesson, not to be 'penny wise and pound foolish'.

Essay On Science Is A Curse

Essay On Science Is A Curse. The atom bombs in the possession of the U.S.A. and U.S.S.R. are powerful enough to blow up the world within no time. The star war will carry the struggle in the space and pollute the whole sphere so badly that no life of any type will survive. The scientists are busy making further advances in the field of armaments and the day is not very far when by switching on one button, the whole humanity will become a thing of The past. The animals in the ocean may survive and may make another effort towards the evolution of new species on the earth.

When billions of people are dying of starvation, more than fifty percent of the budget is being spent on war games. The goverrunents of different countries are busy in making a nuclear device. The cost of one bomb will cross a thousand crores rupees. The common man in that country is also ill clad and ill fed. In Iran and Iraq, a terrible, war is was fought. The whole wealth of both these countries N, beingconsumed by the hell fires of war. The nuclear power plants pose a very serious danger. In Russia, the Chernoble plant spread radiation all around and the neighbouring countries also felt the shock. The radiation level is rising so high that some animals have started dying out.

The smoke and pollution left by big industries is spoiling the whole atmosphere. Last years in Lahore. hundreds of people were killed due to the leakage of poisonous gas. In Switzerland, a private company let out the pollutants in the river and the whole marine life of the river was wiped out. Ultimately all this poisonous material reaches the ocean and kills fish of every type.

The whole work is done by machines. One machine can work for thousands of persons. Un-employment is increasing at a very fast rate. Even those people who work in the factories, sit idle the whole day. We have forgotten manual labour which can keep us physically fit. We cannot walk even for a kilo metre because we depend more and more on automobiles. The result is that most of us suffer from diseases of various types. We cannot enjoy a healthy, vigorous and busy life. Science started as our servant but is becoming our master very fast. It is getting on our nerves and the day is not far off when the entire humanity will suffer a great deal.

Essay On A Drowning Tragedy

Essay On A Drowning Tragedy. It was the month of July. A fair was being held on the banks of the lake near my town. The lake was flooded due to heavy rains. I along with my friends went to see the fair as well as to bathe in the lake. There was a great rush of people. On the banks of the lake, there were many stalls and hawkers. The bathers also kept their belongings on the bank. There was a great hustle and bustle. Most of the people were taking bath in the lake. I also took off my clothes and jumped into the cool and clear water of the lake.

Hardly had I swum for a few minutes when I heard the cries of a downing man. I swam towards the drowning man. When I saw him he was in a precarious condition. Sometimes he went under water while at other times he again happened to come on the surface of the water. Many swimmers rushed towards the eddying waters cf the lake in which the man was engulfed. The drowning man was caught in the whirlpool.
People tried their best to rescue the man but in their earlier attempts they failed to catch hold of the drowning man.

By this time there was also a huge crowd on the banks of the lake. In no time an expert diver dived into the lake and after searching for some time under the surface of water, he brought the man cut. The man was in an unconscious state. He was made to lie on the side of the bank. Immediately he was taken to the nearby dispensary. Where he was given artificial respiration and medicines. Anybody was worried about the victim.

The parents of the man also arri .ed at the dispensary. They were all non-plussed. They were burst"ng fo -th into tears on seeing the precarious condition of their son. 7 'eryone was praying to God for his life.
Even after administering oxygen for one hour he did not regain consciousness. Other medicines were also given but there seemed to be no signs of improvenlent. People, friends relatives were also standing silently and solemnly waiting for the man to come back to his senses.

Despite the best efforts put in by the doctor and his assistants, there was no sign of improvement, rather his condition deteriorated from bad to worse. Soon the doctor pronounced him dead. On hearing this sad and tragic news. everyone was bewailing and bemoaning the dead man while his parents wept bitterly. This was the worst ever drowning tragedy which I happened to witness with my own eyes.
Essay On A Pakistani Village Life.Pakistan is predominantly a land of villages. A major portion of Pakistani Population resides in villages because agriculture is the main occupation of the Pakistani people. Today, there are more than one lakh villages in Pakistan. A Pakistani village reflects the real picture of Pakistan. A Pakistani village, as a matter of fact, is the very epitome of Pakistan's progress after the attainment of Independence . The Government of free Pakistan paid much attention to the lifting of the standard of Pakistani villagers.

A Pakistani village is still confronted with various problems ranging from the lack of education to improper sanitation. No doubt, during the last many years. much has been done to uplift Pakistani villagers, the majority of them are still afflicted by the evils like ignorance and illiteracy. A Pakistani villager is a rough diamond. He still sticks to the old superstition. customs and conventions which have become obsolete and outworn in the modern age of science and technology.

A Pakistani village, in the truest sense, is still made of mud with thatched roof and kucha compounds having unmetalled roads leading to and coming from the village. Its surroundings are green because of the crops and other vegetation. The streets are usual!) narrow and dirty with the open drainage system which gives out foul
smell. During rainy season, the entire village, because of its insanitary conditions, gives out a very foul smell.
Outside the village, there is a pond where cattle take water.

There are some big shady trees on the outskirts of the village, where village people, farmers and others, take rest during their leisure. Under these shady trees, they hold discussion, smoke and enjoy tit¬bits and talks. Some take their lunch under these trees.

Outside the village, there is also a well from where villagers draw water for drinking. The scene at the village well both in the morning and evening is worth watching. The village belles dressed in their lovely and multi-coloured costumes with pitchers on their heads come to take water from the well. To see them chatting and talking while coming and going is an alluring sight. The village women are still victims of the customary veil.
There is also a school on the village. ThiS schools consists of two or three rooms where only one teacher teaches all the classes. The students of the school are ill-clad and rough. They sit on the jute-mattesses. So they become all the more dirty getting spots of ink on their clothes.

A Pakistani village lacks all amenities like police station, a post office, a health centre, and a rural dispensary. So. all of these things make a Pakistani village unhygienic and bad characters and ruffians going Scot free. Anyhow, there is a watchman who keeps a watch and vigil on the village and reports all the matters to the panc hayat.
As every dark cloud has a silver lining. Pakistani •villages have some merits too. The people enjoy the free air. The open fields with lush green crops present beautiful sight. The diet is very nourishing. Milk, curd and other things are abundantly available. The villagers have sound health. They live in the bosom of Nature. The cool and fresh breeze of the morning, the scenes of sun set and sun rise, with the farmers going to their fields along with their cattle. and the tinkling of the bells tied round cattle necks producing charming music are the sights, scenes and sounds very attractive and enchanting. But a Pakistani village needs improvements in many fields. Then and only then they can be ideal dwelling places.

Here and there a few may be seen devouring as much stuff as possible in the light of the latest suggestions. In short all the impulses of youthful mirth, love, adventure have fled and seriousness overpowers youthful humanity.

The ominous bell goes, the candidates enter the hall and take their respective seats. Blank answer books are distributed and examinees fill in the cover page. And then the questions papers are handed out. Suddenly comes a profound bull before a storm. Each examine grabs his paper and runs his eyes through it. The suspense is over; now comes the scene of action with pen and ink.

The scene during the progress of the examination becomes very interesting. Here and there faces light up with happy smiles. It is clear that the questions are within their knowledge. Many look up at the ceiling or through the window at the sky, vague and puzzled, as thought trying to remember the things which they got by heart the night before. Some of them feel a dryness in their throats and feverishly call for water to drink. The smiling ones at once take to writing out the answers that they had so carefully prepared; others also follow their examples thought with less assurance. And very soon and for a long time nothing is heard but the measured trade of the invigilator walking up and down the rows of seats.

This continues for an hour or so, then the atmosphere somewhere relaxes. One calls for a glass of water, and the waterman has to be busy for a time. Sometimes there is a commotion in the hall when a student is caught red-handed with a piece of paper which he had kept concealed with him. As the three hours draw to a close, there is a certain amount of excitement. Some made over the papers earlier and walk with the consciousness of day's burden lifted. Many have finished their work and are busied with a hurried revision.

There are some other who have still some questions to answer. From time to time invigilators draw out the warning of the passing time and then the final bell goes and the answers papers are surrendered, snatched away and soon all candidates are leaving the hall, laughing or chatting. As they come out of the hall, they feel a load is off their head.
Essay On A Cricket Match.Last winter I happened to see a cricket match in Lahore. The match was played between Pakistan cricket team and the West Indies cricket team. The match was played at Qadaffi Stadium Lahore.
Cricket is quite an interesting game. Every game has its plus points. It fosters discipline, duty, team spirit, cooperation and a sportsman's spirit. Some of the Pakistani players are players of international repute.
Cricket is played between two teams of 11 members each. It is played on a flat, smooth and clean ground. Cricket requires, two sets of stumps, wickets and a ball.

The distance between two sets of wickets is 22 yards. The bowlers take their turns after every six balls. In this game. much depends upon the quality of bowling. Good fielding is also necessary for victory. Before the game starts, there is the toss. It is the whim of the toss winning captain to first go for batting or fielding. The fielding party puts three fieldsmen on the one side, six on the off side, while one is posted for guarding the wicket and one for the bowling. The game is generally played for six hours a day. The umpire is the final judge. He is the man who declares the players out whether they are run out, bowled out, caught out, stumped out or leg-before-wicket.

The match which I witnessed was really very interesting. 'There was huge gathering at Qadaffi Satdium Lahore. Pakistan's leading cricketers were playing in the match. I saw the fine game of Saeed Anwar. He hit many boundaries, while Amir Sohail was very careful not to make a single stroke. But soon Saeed Anwar was out. Then he was replaced by Shahid Afridi. He made 50 runs in 76 minutes whole Amir made 66 runs in 70 minutes. Soon there was break for lunch. The Pakistani team made 219 runs for three wickets before lunch.

Then the West Indies players started batting after lunch. B. Lara played very fast and he hit to sixers. Soon he was out. Then R3ger came and hit three sixers. There was a tremendous cheer from the spectators. There was great excitement among the spectators as well as players. Everyone was in high spirits. Roger Binny played lipto the end and he scored over a century. Then the umpire gave a long whistle and the match ended for the day.

The spectators dispersed. Some of the cricket fans were patting Roger Binny for his brilliant performance. Soon the crowd fizzled out and I came to my house. It was a thrilling match for me.

Essay On A Football Match Essay For Students

Matches are an essential part of sports and games. Matches give rise to competitive spirit and sportsman-ship. Moreover. matches are a sort of get together where players, apart from playing and displaying their physical, stamina exchange ideas and information and have free and frank discussions among hemselves.Recently, I happened to witness a football match played between F.C. college and Government College Lahore. The match was played at the Govt. College ground. The entire ground was swept clean and then decorated. There were chairs on one side of the ground for invitees and VIPs.

The other side were open for the spectators. Both the teams were in their high spirits. They were dressed most smartly and neatly. Both were appearing equally strong. The spectators were expecting a well contested and lively game. The ground and its surroundings were jam packed by the public.

'The match started at 5 P.M. sharp. The G.C. team won the toss and chose the favourable side. Soon the referee blow the whistle and the match started. They were hopeful of scoring the goal. In the first few minutes the G.C. team dominated. They panetrated into the defences of their rival team but could not score any goal. Anyhow. their splendid performance puzzled the F.C. College team and the latter resorted to rough game. i.e. kicking ball at random. But the captain did not lose heart and encouraged his team with the result that the team was re-invigorated. The F.C. college team soon recovered their lost position and in the heat of the moment scored a goal. There was thunderous applause when the goal was scored.

The whole team was cheered by their supporters. But at the same time, the right half of G.C. team was badly injured and the right inner had to play the double role throughout the whole game. Soon the referee blew a long whistle and first half was called off.

Then the players took some rest and refreshment. There was a loud noise in the play ground as the supporters of both the teams rushed to their receptive sides in order to cheer them and encourage them.
Again the referee whistled and the match started. Now, the G.C. team girded up its loins and played with caution. The goalkeeper of G.C. team also became very alert. In the first few moments the F.0 team put pressure on the G.C. team: their left half made three hits one after another in the goal of G.C. but the goalkeeper of G.C. team showed his extraordinary skill by kicking the ball back.

Now, the game was passing through a critical stage. Each side was trying its best to score a goal but soon the time was over and it synchronizes with the scoring of a goal by F.C. team to G.C. team. This was a surprising feat which created a great sensation. The winning team received deafening cheers from its supporters while the other spectators admired the courage, and sportsman-like behaviour shown by both the teams. It was really an exciting match and the spectators appeared to have enjoyed it very much.

Technology is the knowledge of the process and techniques that transforms the abstract ideas of scientists and mathematicians into a concrete reality. It is the 'know-how' that enables us to extract the raw materials and then convert them into fuel, steel, chemicals. plastics and food. Technology is also concerned with perfection of industrial processes, with mass production and automation. The advancing technology implies pollution, the exhaustion of natural resources and lack of workers' satisfaction in automated factories. Thus technology is a two-edged weapon.

The chemical industry has grown a lot in the 49th and 20th centuries. It turned natural rubber into a material to be used on an industrial scale. New discoveries like plastic artificial fibres and synthetics were industrialised. Dynamo and electric motors gave fillip to technological development. Early in the 20th century, Henry Ford. the American industrialist, added a new dimension to industrial technology-that of sheer scale. These developments in technology led to serious problem of unemployment, squandering of material resources and social dislocation.

Biotechnology, the manipulation of man's own boy made spectacular advances after the Second World War. An array of drugs to combat diseases were produced. By saving lift, it contributed to the population explosion. Tranquilisers, stimulants and psycho¬therapeutic drugs controlling mental processes were of great value in the hands of the medical profession but created a great social problem when they became generally available.

Computers have opened up new vistas. These can make any number of calculations; modes of particular hypothetical situations can be produced and studied. These have created the problem of unemployment. Sometimes mechanical calculations may do harm to other people and nations. Space technology poses great danger to the world if it is used for polluting the atmosphere. That is why pollution has become an international problem. Now every country is worried about pollution. It in only because of modern technology there is no doubt that it has created a lot of problem.

Technology has made man mechanical in outlook, ruthless in attitude, materialistic in thinking and cold and calculating in behaviours. Thus, technology has created psychological, social and other problems.
Moreover technology has made man of part of the machine. Even in his leisure, has no time to enjoy. He has to work. He has gone away from nature because of this technology. There is no difference between man and machine. So we can say that technology has created more problems.

Essay On Wonders Of Electricity

Essay On Wonders Of Electricity. The comforts of modern living cannot be thought of without electricity. Since its very invention in the last century, electricity has been put to use in several ways, and today we have practically become a slave to this invisible power. We lit our homes with electric lamps. work under electric fans, live in air-conditioned houses. travel in electric cars and electric trains, press electric bells to call our servants, use electric washing machines and enjoy T.V. and films all worked by electric power. Thus, in almost every field of modern living we depend on the house of electricity.

The development of industry in the modern age is entirely a miracle of electricity. In every factory it is the electric current that turns the wheel. The country who can produce sufficient electricity for industrial and domestic use can manage to progress speedily. The total industrial produce and commercial turn over of a country depends on the quantity of electric power available for her industry and transport.

Electricity has not only revolutionised our industry and commerce, it has also brought for us great facilities in the field of education and health. Treatment by X-rays and electrothropy would have been impossible without the help of electricity. Diagnosis and operations in many complicated diseases are done only with the help of electric power. and for almost all chemical preparations and medicines electricity is a must. Even in the field of education we find electricity very useful. Education through films, radio and tape- records has been possible only with the help of electricity.

In brief, electricity is a servant that serves us for 24 hours, both in the home as well as out side the home. It is a good servant only till the time you keep it under your thumb. But, as soon as your grip becomes loose, it becomes a cruel master. Thousands of people in every country die. every year simply because of electric shocks. As soon as this giant is out of control it becomes extremely dangerous. Therefore, with all its blessings, its risks should also be put in mind.

On the whole, electricity is a very useful and important power. It has become a part and parcel of modern living. Its advantages are so numerous that people forget its dangers and very
often become. a prey to it. But that is a fault not with the electric power but with those who use it.

Essay On Value Of Education,The ability to learn was just as foreign to me as another language. However, this has changed, as education slowly became the centre of my world. Education has given me confidence, goals to reach, and a desire to give back. When I first arrived to prison I was convinced that I just wasn’t one of those people who could learn from books. This was built up because most of my life I was called stupid and began to believe it myself. I was put into adult basic education where they centre most of my class on math.

With much practise and time I learned about decimals, fractions, and I wouldn’t believe geometry and even algebra. My self-confidence was rebuilt. I could learn! Over that I was so excited. Next, I began to have goals. Which is a good thing because now I can be in prison and build a future? This still keeps me amazed. When I get my G.E.D I will be taking another class called auto-cad, it’s a very hard class but now I’m not intimidated because I know from experience now that I can learn.

I know what it feels like to have difficult time learning. I would like to be able to give back by helping others to learn. I will be taking the L.V.A training class when I’m approved, this is to learn and become certified in tutoring people. Also I now have a tremendous amount of understanding, which gives me more patience with people.

Now I know education has become what motivates me and I couldn’t think of anything better I would want. Well, there is one thing and that is to let people know that no matter what anyone has said or done, you can reach your goals, it may be a lot of hard work and perseverance but it is well worth it.

Essay On The Environment Is a Wonderful Place

Essay On The Environment Is a Wonderful Place. The environment is a beautiful place. Many people destroy the environment by throwing trash on the ground. We need to respect it. It is very important to save the environment and keep it healthy because we have to live in it. There are many ways it can be saved; by recycling, saving water, and saving paper we can
make a difference.  First, the environment could be helped by recycling. Recycling is very important. There many things that can be recycled.

A partial list includes; plastic cups, water bottles, and plastic straws. When people recycle things, these things are used again. Also, when you recycle things it makes you feel good about yourself because you did something to help the environment by stopping littering and keeping the landfills clean.  Secondly, the environment can be helped by saving water. It would be a horrible thing if there was not enough water on earth.

Water can be saved by taking shorter showers, turning the water off while brushing your teeth, and containing rain water in rain barrels (for the purpose of watering the grass). Saving water is a perfect way to help the environment.  Furthermore, the environment can be helped by recycling paper.

For example, a student can use the back of their paper to write more things. Also, paper can be recycled when you are done with it. If you like to read the newspaper, remember to recycle it when you finish. Many trees are cut down because we use so much paper. If we recycle more paper, fewer trees could be cutdown. This in turn helps keep the carbon dioxide out of the water.  In conclusion, many people litter and throw things on the ground.

Our environment is a great place, but we have to take care of it. It would be helpful if more people would recycle, and save water. Those are some things that can be done to help the
environment. The environment is a wonderful place and should be respected.
My favorite place in the world is St. Petersburg, Florida. The reason why St. Pete, as many call it, is my favorite place is because it is my hometown. I love it so much and can remember my old house address and phone number. In St. Petersburg, there was a lot to do. I would go skating, shopping, hang out with friends, and go to the beach, park, and community pool.

I used to live right next to the water down the street from the St. Petersburg Pier. The pier is a building out in the ocean and is six to seven stories high. You could fish at the pier, go shopping, go to shows, or go to the rook and have dinner and listen to music. Looking over the balcony, you could enjoy the ocean view and watch the sun rise and set.

It was the most beautiful sight!  Another reason why I love St. Pete is because of the great time I had with my friends. I had a friend that lived directly across the street and we were both born at the same time. I knew him my whole life. As we grew up, his parents had three more children and we all became close friends. They were known to me as the Andrews boys, and they called me “Briz”. As we grew up, we spent most of our time together and we always kept a picture book of what we did for fun.

We would make plans on what we would do for fun each day. We would go swimming, fishing, climbing and would play games, such as soccer and hockey.  All that changed when my family thought that I needed to live somewhere else where there was less trouble. They packed me up and loaded everything in a moving truck. I said my goodbyes to my friends and started a new life here in Lake City, Florida.
