Essay On My Room And My House

Essay On My Room And My House.East or West, home is the best. It is a famous old saying which is true to the hilt. I live in a small flat which was built by the L.D.A. My father owns it on hire-purchase basis and pays monthly instalments. When the house was allotted, it was only a one-room set. We were not yet born. As the family grew, in size, my father added one more room to meet the needs of the children.

It is a compact dwelling, in which we have all the facilities within the four walls. We have combined the bathroom and toilet and created a small kitchen. There are marble chips on the floor. We have covered the drawing-room with wall to wall carpet. The show case in the drawing-room has been tastefully decorated. All the greeting cards have been arranged very well in the centre.

Whenever we visit some historical place, we bring some momento from there and place it in the show-case. We have arranged the drawing room in such a manner that it can be changed into a guest-room. I have a folding study-table in a corner where I do my home work.

There is a box-type doubled bed in the bed-room. We have filled those boxes with our winter beds. The almirah in the corner, contains all our ward-robes. We have a T.V. set in one corner which we view at night. We never miss the news and the drama. We can use it with the help of remote control, sitting in our beds.

Although it is a very small flat yet I get all the comforts of life in it.

Essay On Things I Love Most

Essay On Five Things I Love Most,This world is full of many wonderful and lovely things. Man has been trying to mobilise the resources of his intellect for making various types of inventions and discoveries and thus endeavouring to make the things more lovely and worth enjoying. This process of beautifying the worldly things is a continuous process. There is no end to it. As, there are many beautiful and lovely things, it becomes very difficult to pick and choose.

Somehow. with the greatest care, 1 have selected five things which I would like to adopt in my future life.
First of all. I have a great love for Nature. I am fed up with this artificial and momentary pleasure which we derive from the city life. I am thinking of settling in some village where I will be able to enjoy Nature. I wish to make friendship with Nature because Nature can be a true friend and real guide of a man, and it never deceives a person who loves her.

Wordsworth, the great lover of Nature, has also acknowledged this fact in his poems. I am very much anxious to go and enjoy steep hills, greenery of the open valleys, cool breeze and other natural objects. There, I will find people who are quite different in nature from the city dwellers. Their motto of life is simple living and high thinking. Thus, I will have the privilege of coming in contact with simple and straight-forward people.

Secondly, I am very much interested in adopting 'teaching my profession. I am deeply pained to find illiteracy in Pakistan. For the successful functioning of democracy, it is essential that we should reduce the existent illiteracy. I have a great love for this profession. I want every young man and woman to get education. I here is a dire need for spreading education to every nook and corner of the country. I hope that, by selecting this pmfession, I would be serving the country in the best possible way.

Thirdly. I have a keen desire to read novels. Bushra Rehman. Shoaukat Khanwi, Fatima Surriya Bajia and Nasim Hijazi are my Iavourite authors. Novels are my favourite pastime. Novels widen the doors of knowledge. They give us an insight into the zig-zag ways of this world. Sometimes we are able to resolve many difficult problems with the help of knowledge got from the novels. We are able to chalk out many schemes which can be very useful in our day¬to-daN life.

I ourthly, I love my country. I can forego anything just for die honour of my country. If some one were to ask me to go to to' vigil land and serve there, and get a handsome salary. I would be tile first blunt young man to reject this offer. It is because I am very much fond of the ways of Pakistani life, the food. the sunshine, home. friends, parents and other relatives. Further, if I go to a foreign country for some remunerative employment. I will not be doing justice to my Motherland. To the land which has given birth to me. I owe an irrepayable debt. So, I am bound to forego everything lor it.

Last but not the least, I love my sweet home. It is rightly said: Last or West, home is the best. I live in a small house which does not provide all the modern facilities, still it is no less than a pahulise. I have been to my friends houses. I find ultra-modern decorations. Those houses have dining rooms, sitting rooms and bed rooms and very rich and lavish food is served. In spite of all this. I don't like that type of artificial life.
I have selected the above mentioned five things which are dearest to me and are the essence of my life and living.

Essay On My Ambition In Life

Essay On My Ambition In Life.People have their own dreams in life. Many aspire to be rich or to become business tycoons (magnates, big guns) . Some persons Ii dream of becoming leaders, politicians and social reformers. There are others who have a craze for becoming poets, writers and novelists while most of us generally have a desire of becoming engineers, doctors and scientists of great repute. There are a very few persons, who are happy-go-lucky by nature and have no clear- cut aim in their lives.

As for myself, 1 do not have very ambitious aims in my life. I do not wish to become a mill-owner or a multi-millionaire. The sole object of my life is to lead a life of simplicity and goodness devoted to the service of humanity. The life of a professional leader or a politician does not interest me, as most of such persons have grown parasites on the society.

1 am born of middle class parents, From the very beginning. I have been passing through the struggles of life. I have seen cutthroat competition in most of the professions. Its consequences have been far-reaching; people are demoralised. Examples are not wanting when we can find the engineers accepting big bribes. lawyers rescuing guilty persons or murderers and doctors demanding money from the patients at crucial stages of surgical operation.

Then what do I want to be? Indeed, from the core of my heart, I wish to become a teacher. The motto of this life, simple living and high thinking, inspires me to take up this profession. The noble ideals of the teachers in the ancient times are before me. I am fully aware of the difficult and hard life of a teacher. I know that a teacher is lotted to be poor. He -leads a life of drudgery, busy in correcting exercise-books or answer books of the students. There are no stirring events in his life.

lnspite of these hardships. I do not hesitate to become a teacher. I have my own reasons and considerations for this. From my' early childhood. I have developed a love for the young children:- To me. they are delicate and beautiful like the petals of a flower. I Feel that as a teacher. I can help the students in widening their out giving them knowledge. I will have the satisfaction of doing, an invaluable service to the country by producing better In/ens.

Moreover, the company of the young children can even help me in remaining young and fresh in thoughts and outlook. Besides tendering all these important services I will also have the means of subsistence. I have a great faith in: the life of a noble and ideal teacher, because teachers are the custodians of the highest value.
